Present perfect tense

The present perfect tense is formed using the auxiliary verb "has/have" + the past participle of the main verb.

For positive sentences:

Subject + has/have + past participle of the main verb.

Examples:

I have eaten breakfast. [আমি নাস্তা খেয়েছি।]

She has finished her homework. [সে তার বাড়ির কাজ শেষ করেছে।]

They have decided to go on a trip. [তারা একটি সফরে যাওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে।]

For negative sentences:

Subject + has/have + not + past participle of the main verb.

Examples:

I haven't seen that movie. [আমি সেই সিনেমা দেখিনি।]

She hasn't told me the news yet. [সে এখনও আমাকে খবর দেয়নি।]

They haven't made a decision yet. [তারা এখনো কোনো সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়নি।]

For questions:

Has/Have + subject + past participle of the main verb.

Examples:

Have you seen that movie? [আপনি কি সেই সিনেমা দেখেছেন?]

Has she told you the news yet? [সে কি তোমাকে এখনো খবর বলেছে?]

Have they made a decision yet? [তারা কি এখনও সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে?]
