Present continuous tense

 The present continuous tense ব্যবহৃত হয় যা কথা বলার মুহুর্তে ঘটছে বা একটি অস্থায়ী ক্রিয়া যা চলছে বোঝাতে।

The present continuous tense is formed using the auxiliary verb "be" + the present participle of the main verb (verb + ing).

For positive sentences:

Subject + is/am/are + verb + ing

Examples:

I am playing tennis. [আমি টেনিস খেলছি।]

She is studying for her exams. [সে তার পরীক্ষার জন্য পড়াশোনা করছে।]

They are having a good time. [তাদের ভালো সময় কাটছে।]

For negative sentences:

Subject + is/am/are + not + verb + ing

Examples:

I am not playing tennis. [আমি টেনিস খেলি না।]

She is not studying for her exams. [সে তার পরীক্ষার জন্য পড়াশোনা করছে না।]

They are not having a good time. [তাদের সময় ভালো যাচ্ছে না।]

For questions:

Is/Am/Are + subject + verb + ing

Examples:

Are you playing tennis? [আপনি কি টেনিস খেলছেন?]

Is she studying for her exams? [সে কি তার পরীক্ষার জন্য পড়াশোনা করছে?]

Are they having a good time? [তারা কি ভাল সময় কাটাচ্ছে?]
